Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems are software or hardware systems that actively monitor your network traffic for suspicious patterns and alert your network administrators. An Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) will also be able to enact deterrent action to terminate such activity.
At SimplerCloud, we provide the following, depending on your plan type:
Installation of preferred IDS / IPS: we can install established or commercial IPS/IDS on your server, depending on plan type, for a per-hour fee.
Managed IPS: we provide managed Intrusion Prevention Service (IPS) for all cloud plans that feature private networking. Please see Security Solutions at SimplerCloud for more details.
Managed Firewall IPS: Managed firewalls and dedicated private cloud plans which include managed firewalls have IPS/IDS features that can be enabled and configured according to your security policies.
