Firewall and Firewall Management Services for all SimplerCloud plans

Managed firewall services, ranging from host-based firewall to egres firewall solutions in a full NAT environment, are available for all SimplerCloud plans, depending on each plan type. Here s a list of firewall solutions available by plan type. 

1. Simple Cloud and Custom Cloud plan range

Simple Cloud plans and Custom Cloud plans are public-facing cloud plans that can deploy firewall protection through IP tables. SimplerCloud provides host-based firewall configuration and management services, please more details at the Managed Firewall Services page 

2. Virtual Private Cloud 

Virtual Private Cloud plans include software router and firewall, allowing for multiple server VMs to be configured and managed within their own private network on the Internet.  Firewall configuration and policy management can be done by VPC administrators from the SimplerCloud VPC dashboard. 3. Dedicated Servers and Co-Location 

Dedicated server and co-location customers can place physical firewall applicances between their servers and the Internet within the SimplerCloud data center.  For more details, see Managed Shared and Dedicated Firewall Services. All Managed Shared and Dedicated Firewall services include Intrusion Detection Services (IDS) and Intrusion Protection Services (IPS). 

4. Dedicated Private Cloud 

Some Dedicated Private Cloud plans already include dedicated managed firewalls, while for some Dedicated Private Cloud plans, managed firewall plans can be added as an option.
